Explore a dungeon full of challenges and dangers in an immersive adventure that puts your wit and courage to the test! This fangame pays homage to two gaming classics: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and 3D Dot Game Heroes, taking mechanics from the original games and combining them with new ones!

Story

The objective is to guide our little hero into the depths of the dungeon solving intricate puzzles, collecting keys to open doors, and defeating several types of enemies until arriving at the final boss.

How to play

The hero movement is controlled using the 'WASD' keys. In addition, he can attack using the mouse left click and jump with the space bar (only after obtaining the special boots power-up).

Cheats

Is the game too difficult? You can use some cheats to reach the end of the level easier. Enable the god mode to be invincible to enemies and walk above the abyss with the 'G' key. Furthermore, obtain door keys immediately by pressing 'K', or 'B' to access the final boss room. Finally, teleport to the different stages of the dungeon using the '1', '2', or '3' keys.

Content

There are 4 different enemies, each with completely different behaviors and powers. In order to face them, there are different strategies that you will have to discover while playing looking into their movements or attacking patterns. What's more, solve the puzzles spread among the different rooms in order to advance toward the end of the dungeon.

Academic context

This 3D video game was developed in a few weeks as a university project for the Video Games (VJ) subject at the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB, UPC).
